The Building Blocks Project: What + Why + When

Building Blocks: Interactive Conversations with LGBTQ Families is a series of interactive video documentaries about families created by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer parents.

This project is designed to be a resource for LGBTQ parents-to-be, who may be inspired by story-sharing and eager for practical advice, and for all members of LGBTQ-led families, who may be excited to see more families like their own.

Special thanks to the Temple University Presidential Humanities & Arts Research Program for the seed grant that made this project possible!

Special thanks to Stephanie Haynes and Philadelphia Family Pride for all of your support along the way!
